Hi.

In the Middle East, cars are on fire as Libyan military jets strafe unarmed civilians.  Unrelenting pro-union activists throng state government buildings in the American Midwest.  And some other important shit is happening.  Meanwhile, another blog is born.

If you visit here occasionally you’ll get to read about triumphs, and failures—mostly failures.  You might find movie recommendations, or a story about sex with a garlic jar.  You may happen upon blog entries filled with graphic descriptions of action figures I played with as a child.  I’ll undoubtedly tell you about the time my mother, tanked-up on Canadian whiskey and sleeping pills, burned off most of her bangs while lighting her cigarette, and then decided to go for an evening jog in her pajamas and house slippers.

Or what about that time once in Thailand when a street vendor, a tiny woman who weighed no more than an obese house cat, proceeded to stalk and periodically kick box a U.S. Marine because he drunkenly offered to buy one of her hand-crafted puppets for one baht (3 American cents).  Good times.

Hm.  Yeah.  Maybe you’d better move on to something worth your precious time.  Who the ficky-fick reads blogs anyway.
